2. GLAM ST TROPEZ
YOU don’t need to be on Madonna’s budget to take your brood for a seaside holiday in St Tropez. There are great budget resorts in the area, made even more affordable when you share with another family. Pack lilos and flippers for a half-term week at Les Restanques de Golfe, a holiday centre with its own water park. Two-family apartments sleep up to 10 people and the park is surrounded by 25 acres of estate overlooking the Med and St Tropez. Sign the kids up for the children’s club, (from three to 18) while you have a lazy lunch and bottle of Cote du Rhone in the resort restaurant. Sandy Cote D’Azur beaches are just a few minutes’ drive from the apartments.
HOW MUCH? A week from October 22 for 10 people costs £1,398 (£699 per family) excluding transport through Pierre et Vacances Holidays.
